We believe God is restoring His church to New Testament style, values and power and that He has been pourng out His Spirit on the church in recent years to this end. This means friendship, valuing God's word and openness to the Holy Spirit.
The gathered church is meant to be a place of enthusiasm and meaningful worship, where everyone can contribute prayer and spiritual gifts to strengthen the whole body. We believe church should be occupied with reaching the lost and a place of friendship and mutual care. We are also committed to the church having an international/multi-cultural flavour to its membership and world mission in its heart.

WHERE WE’VE COME FROM
Originally a church plant, Hope Church Glasgow started in Jan 2003 when Andy Merrick felt the call to leave leading City Church Newcastle and start a new frontiers church in Glasgow city.
Two couples and their families moved up to help him plant the new church and were joined by an initial group of people already in Glasgow.
September 20th 2009 was an exciting day for us as we set our elders in - Andy and Nick.
NEWFRONTIERS
Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches together on a mission, currently approaching 500 churches worldwide. With a passionate commitment to build the church according to New Testament principles, we believe that the most effective form of evangelism is worked out from strong local churches. Churches where each member participates, the gifts of the Spirit are outworked, where there is joy in caring one for the other, where there is a desire to make a difference in society and to reach those in need. We aim to achieve this by restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders, planting churches and reaching the nations.
